De omgeving is prachtig: bossen, heide, klimmetjes en geweldige uitzichten. Ook de ondergrond is zeer gevarieerd: asfalt, klinkers, (hard) zand, gravel.\n<\/p>\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div style=\"text-align:center;\">\n <iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Rondje Twente 2023\" width=\"626\" height=\"352\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/VyklZMlLAnk?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>De aanpassingen die we vorig jaar in de route hebben aangebracht, bevielen goed, hoewel op sommige plekken de ondergrond toch wel iets te uitdagend bleek (hoog gras en veel onverhard). Voor dit jaar hebben we enkele knelpunten eruitgehaald. Hier kun je je auto gratis parkeren. Na 66 kilometer komen we aan op de Holterberg. Bij <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bistrodeholterberg.nl\/\" target=\"blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Bistro de Holterberg<\/a> houden we een korte pauze. Daar krijgen we heerlijke broodjes, koffie en thee aangeboden. Daarom houden we de tocht in een periode van het jaar waarin we de route geheel bij daglicht kunnen steppen. Dat betekent wel dat we een beetje moeten opschieten: we houden een gemiddelde snelheid aan van 15&nbsp;km\/u inclusief pauzes. Dat houdt in dat de gemiddelde rijsnelheid rond de 18&nbsp;km\/u ligt.\n<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_2850\" style=\"width: 467px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-2850\" class=\"wp-image-2850 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.stepteamtwente.nl\/home\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/12\/volgauto.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"457\" height=\"345\"><p id=\"caption-attachment-2850\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Wanneer de volgauto onze route kruist, nemen we soms een korte pauze<\/p>\n<p><\/p><\/div>\n<p>210 km op \u00e9\u00e9n dag steppen is best een forse onderneming. Het is dan ook zaak om je goed voor te bereiden. Zorg daarom dat je van tevoren al een paar langere tochten van meer dan 100&nbsp;km in de benen hebt.\n<\/p>\n<p>\nHet is natuurlijk mogelijk dat je onderweg te maken krijgt met fysieke pech en\/of materiaalpech waardoor je de tocht niet kunt voortzetten. Dan zijn er verschillende opties:\n<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><p><\/p>\n<li>Er is beperkt ruimte in onze volgauto voor jou en je step.\n<\/li>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<li>We komen langs enkele treinstations. Vandaar kun je per trein naar het eindpunt of naar huis reizen.\n<\/li>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<li>Je kunt iemand van je thuisfront oproepen om je te komen redden. Maak daar van tevoren afspraken over.\n<\/li>\n<p><\/p>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>We blijven als groep samen, bij pech wachten we op elkaar, en waar nodig helpen we elkaar. Om dit op een prettige manier mogelijk te maken, houden we de groepsgrootte beperkt. Je kunt je aanmelden via <a target=\"blank\" href=\"https:\/\/forms.gle\/9JJybNBxzHYywrHXA\" rel=\"noopener\">dit formulier<\/a>. De deelnamekosten kun je overmaken naar NL84 RABO 0328 9226 33 t.n.v. Stepteam Twente. Via een WhatsApp-groep kun je op de hoogte worden gehouden van het laatste nieuws rond de tocht. Daar kun je vragen stellen en kun je bijvoorbeeld afspraken maken om met elkaar mee te rijden naar het startpunt. Te zijner tijd wordt in de app-groep een gpx-bestand van de route gedeeld.<\/p>\n<p>Tot nu toe hebben in totaal 17 unieke deelnemers het Rondje Twente volbracht.
