In de afgelopen twee jaar heeft Stepteam Twente een Molentocht georganiseerd, een lange toertocht rond een leuk thema. Ook dit jaar bieden we weer een langere toer aan, maar gooien het over een andere boeg: dit keer wordt het een crosstoer. We hebben drie mooie MTB-routes aan elkaar geknoopt tot een crosstoer van ongeveer 65 km. Deze crosstocht is minder lang dan de Molentochten, maar dat is logisch, want crossen is wel een stukje zwaarder.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Voor deze tocht gaan we ervan uit dat je enige ervaring hebt met crosssteppen. Onderweg blijven we als groep bij elkaar. Om iedereen een prettige crosservaring te bieden steppen we de technische stukken op eigen tempo en wachten we tussendoor even op elkaar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Drie MTB-routes<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

We hebben voor deze steptocht de volgende drie MTB-routes aan elkaar geknoopt:<\/p>\n\n\n\n


Rutbeek<\/a> (6,2 km)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

De MTB-route rond het recreatiemeer Het Rutbeek is geliefd bij Twentse crosssteppers vanwege de leuke technische stukken, de lekkere kombochten en het pittige stukje over een boom- en wortelrijke dijk die je steeds op en af moet steppen. Het letterlijke en figuurlijke hoogtepunt van deze route is de uitdagende skiheuvel. Als je hem echt niet aandurft, mag je hem eventueel overslaan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n


Enschede-Zuid<\/a> (3,1 km)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In de bebouwde kom van een stad zou je misschien geen MTB-toute verwachten. Toch is er binnen Enschede een kort maar aantrekkelijk technisch crossrondje gerealiseerd. De route bestaat vrijwel geheel uit single-tracks met aardig wat draai- en keerwerk.<\/p>\n\n\n\n


Haaksbergen<\/a> (52 km)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Delen van deze route gebruiken we regelmatig voor onder andere onze Crossdagen en crossclinics. Maar dit keer gaan we de route in zijn geheel steppen. MTB-route Haaksbergen is een aaneenschakeling van prachtige technische stukken. Op de verbindingswegen tussen deze delen kun je steeds weer even op adem komen en genieten van de mooie omgeving. In het oostelijke deel van de route steppen we een stukje door Duitsland.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
